Trained in India and shaped through professional experience across Southeast Asia, Puneet Naik is an architect and designer whose work is grounded in craft, climate, and material intelligence.

He completed his Bachelor of Architecture at R V College of Architecture, Bangalore, where his interest in context-driven and construction-aware design began to take form.

Puneet undertook his architectural internship at Case Design Studio in Mumbai, where he was exposed to a quiet, materially sensitive approach to residential architecture. Working closely with contractors and craftsmen, many of whom had collaborated with Studio Mumbai, he developed an appreciation for slowness, precision, and the humility of building values that continue to inform his design thinking.

Following this, Puneet worked at Alexis Dornier in Bali, contributing to the design and development of high-end villas, mixed-use resorts, and hospitality projects across the region. Immersed in a studio culture that values iteration, experimentation, and natural materials, he worked closely with local artisans and builders, strengthening his belief in architecture that is rooted in place, responsive to climate, and shaped through making as much as drawing.

During this period, he also collaborated on projects with Site Practice and Studio Elemental, gaining exposure to diverse architectural methodologies and scales of practice.

Today, Puneet’s work reflects a synthesis of these experiences. His architecture seeks calm over spectacle, clarity over excess, and meaning through detail. Craft, climate, and collaboration remain the enduring foundations of his practice, forming the quiet DNA of his creative approach.
